Where Am I?

Hello my lovely ladies!

Okay, so if you've noticed I've been trying to update my auction pieces from the Fandom Gives Back. First I posted a few chapters for Always Meant to Be, an AU Edward and Bella story that I just absolutely adore writing. Then I just recently posted You Are My Home, a Carlisle and Esme o/s. I was also able to post another chapter of The Family that Stays Together. Rest assured, For the Love of the King will be completed, including the audiobook. I have absolutely no intention of abandoning that story. The fandom is changing and people are moving on to different endeavors, but this is where I first got my writing bug and I won't abandon you guys because of that.

And a little bit of news. For anyone who hasn't had of Fictionista, it is a fabulous workshop community to help writers work on their craft, and for this second round I am working on an original fiction story. There many different avenues in which you can be involved with this project and I highly recommend checking them out. It is a crazy process, but I really feel like it is helped me grow as a writer and as an editor. Hopefully you will be hearing news about me being published soon. I know it will take time, but I just want to prepare everyone.

I started a blog over the summer where I post reviews for different books that I've been reading. A few are advance copies, most have been released already, but if you're looking for something new to read and aren't sure what to get then check out A Trail of Books Left Behind.

So, I guess that's it for now. Be sure to check back here for news and you can also follow me on Twitter.

New Set Up

*waves* Hey everyone! Long time no see.

As you can probably tell there's a new layout for this space and I'm totally digging it. There are still a few kinks that I'm trying to work out, but for the most part I'm happy :)

Also, I just wanted to let you know that I am doing my best to write and get this completed so that I can start posting again. I miss it just as much as you do, and I want an ending for each of my stories just as much. Right now, all I can do is ask for you to be patient with me a little longer. You know that I will do my best to make it worth the wait.

Love you guys, and thanks so much for your support!

Ramblings and Updates

That's right, Jensen Ackles is the ultimate 80s high school gym coach with his sweatband and short gym shorts! Ha ha ha! Okay, but seriously, I just had to put that there because it's hilarious and is helping me bide my time until the next season of Supernatural comes out on DVD.

Now, the reason for this post. I have finally finished the chapters I wrote for my AU story, Always Meant to Be, and will post them once the beta works her magic on them. They will be posted weekly (there's three) and I'm already working out the details for how the rest of the story is going to go. In the meant time I'm working on the remaining auction pieces that I have left, including the audiobook for For the Love of a King. The next chapter of The Family that Stays Together is in progress and will be posted as soon as it's ready.

For the Love of a King has also been nominated for an All Human Award as the fan fiction you couldn't stop reading. I'm very excited! If you want to check out the other nominations and know where to vote, here's the link: http://twilightallhumanawards.webs.com

Oh, and before I go. If you follow TallulahBelle I'm sure you've seen mention of Enchantments and are dying to figure out what that is (and if you haven't I hope you like the teaser). Well, this weekend you will get your questions answered. It will be a lot of fun :)

Again, thank you all for your support. None of this would be possible without you fabulous ladies. Be sure to check back here regularly for info and put me on author alert on ff.net so you'll get the notifications when I update.

Thank you!

I just want to say thank you to everyone who donated for the Fandom Gives Back. It was such an amazing success and I am so proud to be a part of this fandom. You guys are what make it great. So thank you, there aren't words to how fabulous you are.

I am working hard on writing, finishing what I need to. There will hopefully be plenty of updates from me soon and you'll be sick of getting those emails in your box's from me. In the meantime I wanted to share something that really made me happy.

There was a book signing in Houston the other day and I was so excited that I actually got to go to something like that. Maggie Stiefvater, the author of Shiver and Linger came and she is the sweetest person I have ever met. She told a few stories and had everyone cracking up, she read a short chapter from Linger, and answered a few questions. It was a pretty cool time.

Then she signed our copies of Linger and took pictures with us. I don't normally like to post pictures of myself, but in this case I will make an exception. So, here is a picture that I was able to take with Maggie Stiefvater.

The Fandom Gives Back: Eclipse update

It still amazes me how generous everyone has been for this auction. Being a part of it makes me feel both humbled and proud to be in this fandom. Thank you to everyone that has donated.

If anyone is interested in getting the audio recording of For the Love of a King you still can. It is first come, first serve and there are 50 left to bid on. All you need to do is donate $35 to Alex's Lemonade Stand and it's yours. I have more information on the auction page and here's the link for you: http://www.thefandomgivesback.com/item.php?id=326. I'm also offering a continuation of the one-shot I wrote, Touched. It will be novella length if you are interested: http://www.thefandomgivesback.com/item.php?id=308

If you'd like a brand new one-shot written by kyla713 and myself, we are also up for bid. This will be our debut collaboration together and we would love to write something for you. Here's the link to our page as well: http://www.thefandomgivesback.com/item.php?id=432

We have 2 guest spots for Cullens Court Cast up for grabs, too. If you'd like to join us here's guest spot 1:

The Fandom Gives Back: Eclipse

Okay, so yes, I'm sure that most everyone has heard about The Fandom Gives Back Auction coming. It's an amazing cause and Nina, Christina, and Lauren are truly wonderful women for putting this all together. The amount of pledges and items that have come in to help raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand are astounding and just shows how generous people can be.

So, the reason for this post, I wanted to have a place to post my auction links in case my readers (who humble me everyday) couldn't find them and wanted to know exactly what it was that I was offering. I have three things up for bid, not including something for the podcast that I will be posting over there as well.

1.) An audio recording of For the Love of a King. If you love this story and would like your own copy then here's the link to the auction: http://www.thefandomgivesback.com/item.php?id=326

2.)The continuation of my one-shot Touched (novella length). If you loved former Marine, Jasper, and his physical therapist, Alice, then stop by: http://www.thefandomgivesback.com/item.php?id=308

3.) Finally, kyla713 and I decided to collaborate on a brand new one-shot. Our group name at the auction is la bagan, and if you would like us to write you something here's the link: http://www.thefandomgivesback.com/item.php?id=432

Alright, so those are the three things that I am offering for the auction this round. If there's anything that you're interested in, then please stop by.

It's been a busy year

Hey everyone! Long time no see.

Well, I thought that I'd give you guys a little update about what's been going on lately. So, first of all, for anyone that doesn't already know I graduated from college in May (yay!) and have a lot of free time at the moment. That means that I finally have the opportunity to get caught up on all of my writing.

I'm doing my best to do so in a timely fashion. Right now I'm working my through all of my auction pieces (slowly but surely) and will post them when I can. Maybe I should try posting them close together so you aren't waiting so long in between for updates. What do you guys think?

Also, I've signed myself up again for FGB2. I, myself, am offering an audio recording of For the Love of a King for anyone who's interested and the continuation of my one-shot Touched ( written for For the Love of Jasper contest). That won't be any larger than a novella. Kyla713 and I are offering 2 guests spots on Cullens Court Cast for the highest bidders as well.

Once I'm caught up, my focus will be on completing The Family that Stays Together and For the Love of a King. Those two have been my babies from the very beginning and I plan on completing them no matter what. If you have any questions about what I'm working on, updates/teasers, the podcast, or just in general you can email me at maganbagan@gmail.com.

(*shh* But I might also post another interview with Princeward in the near future. If you have any questions you'd like for me to ask him you can email them to me as well. *shh*

For the Love of a King update

That's right, I finally posted a something for For the Love of a King. *shh* It's an outtake.

It's up on ff.net: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4595966/24/ and Twilighted: http://twilighted.net/viewstory.php?sid=1543&textsize=0&chapter=24

My life is really crazy right now! This week coming up is finals week as well as my graduation. In a little less than a week I will officially be a college graduate! *squee*

So with that in mind I am doing my best to finish writing the chapter that I am working on and to have something ready to post for you guys. It most likely won't be in the next week, but we'll see. If not it will be soon, I promise. Also, I am doing my best to get caught up on everything (auctions pieces and what not) before the FGB auction starts up again. I have a few things that will be auctioned off, including a couple of spots on the podcast that I co-host with kyla713, Cullens Court Cast.

Check back here, on my twitter @maganbagan, or in the author's note of whatever I update for more information. Just recently I updated The Family that Stays Together, the sequel to No One Saw the Pain, and A Perfect Twilight, the full story to my one-shot A Perfect Evening. Both can be found on ff.net and Twilighted. If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will also post my contact information on here when I get a chance.

Thanks again for all of your support and patience.

What... Magan Bagan actually still writes?

Hi everyone!

I know that it has been a very long time since I've posted anything, believe me I know that very well. But, I can promise you that I am working diligently to make sure that there will be a few chapters for me to post soon. Real life has been killing me lately (since I'm finally going to be a college graduate in a matter of weeks and work as a validation beta over on Twilighted) so my time is limited.

Fear not though, I am completely committed to finishing each and everyone of my stories and have plenty of ideas for new ones as well. I just ask that you please bear with me for a little while longer. *crosses fingers* I'm hoping to get caught up on all of my writing between now and before I graduate in May. Are you ladies with me?

In other news, The Fandom Gives Back will be starting up again in June (leading up to the release of Eclipse) and I have signed up for a few things. When the time is closer for the start of the auction I will post a list of what you will be able to bid on (unless you've already seen my partial tweet on twitter). I think you'll be pleased.

Anyways, please check here, the Twilighted threads, or my Twitter account for news and updates on what I have going on. I will admit that I'm kind of boring, but I'll try to let you know when I post tears and update stories. Thank you for your continued support!
